Areas Your Gift Impacts

  • Agriculture - Provides sponsorship and member support to the annual Farm City Week programs and events, including Leadership Manatee Agriculture Day, Leadership and Citizen awards for 4H youth.
  • Christmas in August - A one day event in August that provides homeless children with help to get ready for school. Support includes school backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, medical and dental exams and gift cards to purchase shoes and clothing.
  • Community Services - Volunteers positively impact the community through Better Manatee Day, Kids Against Hunger, Boys and Girls Club Christmas tree sales, Salvation Army bell ringing and Veteran's Day luncheon.
  • Service Leadership Programs - Sponsorship support to the Key Club at Bradenton Christian and Manatee High Schools, Builder's Club at BCS, King and St. Joseph's Middle Schools, and K Kids at Miller, Palma Sola, Samoset and Stewart Elementary Schools. Provides members with opportunities for community service, develop character and leadership skills.
  • Scholarships - Scholarships are provided to graduating high school students from Manatee County who will be attending college.
  • Young Children Priority One - Emphasis is on prenatal to age five. Volunteers provide leadership and support to annual service projects such as childhood immunizations, reading programs and child safety seats.
  • Youth Services - Direct support for elementary school children through funding and volunteer mentors for the Big K Mentoring Program directed by Big Brothers Big Sisters and other education based programs.
